Welcome to C,K. Patel Technical Institute

The great visionary Late Shri H . F . Patel; an industrialist and technocrat, visualized the need of the day way back in 1979. He ensured that the educational hub VallabhVidyanagar and the Industrial zone VitthalUdyognagar is well-equipped where the students from nearby villages can get the opportunity to learn and avail technical training. With this noble objective he established the NAR SEVA SAMAJ TRUST. The Trust was registered on 12-08-1976 under Bombay Public Trust Act No. E 2391 .

The Premises consisting of eight rooms were rented from the Education NAR KELAVANI MANDAL that runs C K PATEL TECHNICAL INSTITUTE NAR (132) students were admitted in the first batch of 1983 for Industrial Training consisting of Four Trades – Turner, Fitter, Welder ,Wireman& Electronics Mechanical .

Trust took a decision to construct its own new and large building on the gifted land 2Acar 13 Guantha From Late Shri Khushalbhai Ambalalbhai Patel & main donor Late Shri Chatrubhai Kashibhai Patel (So Institute Namely C K PATEL TECHNICAL INSTITUTE NAR )

The modern building was inaugurated on 06TH MAY 1986 by the then Honorable Minister Government Of Gujarat Shri. Sanat Mehta.

All the required machinery and equipment including lathes, planers, shapers, milling machines, grinding machines, electric and gas welding sets, welding generators, transformers, supporting hand tools and precision measuring instruments were donated and installed by NAR SEVA SAMAJ FUND , as part of its Rural Development Programme.

The institute has always had qualified and experienced instructors in their respective trades as its faculty.

Recently last year 2015 this institute have From NCVT NEW DELHI Re-affiliated update with modern syllabus Currently, 367 students are admitted in ITI.


The objective of C. K. Patel ITI is to provide a platform and facilities to the children of nearby villages for the betterment of their lives. By taking admission in the Institute and completing the course they are eligible to get jobs in GIDC Units. GIDC units, on the other hand, get trained & skilled workforce as per their needs.

The objectives of C. K. Patel ITI are

  • To ensure a steady flow of skilled labor in different trades of the industry.
  • To raise the quality and quantity of industrial production by systematic training of workers, and
  • To reduce unemployment among the educated youth by equipping them with suitable industrial equipment.

Apprentice & Recruitment

On completion of the course, the students are offered apprenticeships in the C . K. Patel Group of Industries and Vitthal  Udyognagar. The close and continuing liaison between the institute and the industrial units in the area provide further job opportunities for better career prospects.

It may be added that we have been making efforts for placement of successful trainees by conducting campus interviews. On selection, they are absorbed in the industrial units, government and semi-government bodies like –Tata – Sanand, L & T – Hazira, Anupam Industries – GIDC,  ELECON, ONGC, GMM Pfaudler Ltd. – Karamsad, IDMC – GIDC, Nesco (Indabrator Ltd), GSRTC Nadiad.

Our efforts have been goal oriented and pioneering in this sphere and we shall continue to strengthen them at an accelerated pace so that maximum benefits could flow out in terms of employability of the trainees.
